Blue Ribbon BBQ in The New York Times

In light of our record-breaking October 14th, 2010, feature on Groupon, Blue Ribbon BBQ was mentioned prominently in an article on Google's potential $6 billion buyout of Groupon.  The mention was the cover story of the Business Day section of today's issue of The New York Times.

New York Times Blue Ribbon BBQ Groupon Google

Blue Ribbon BBQ currently holds the nationwide record for restaurant sales on Groupon and gets the silver medal for Boston, bested only by retail giant The Gap.  We'd like to thank both our loyal and new customers for making the feature such a success and invite you to share your thoughts on the Google buyout.

As someone who LOVES barbeque and has travelled across the US several times tasting barbeque where ever I could...Blue Ribbon certainly rates among my top two!...but is THE BEST in Massachusetts! I have a place about 3 miles from me in West B'water, MA that claims to "specialize" in BBQ..it tastes like left overs from a college party from a week ago! I'll drive the 45minutes for Blue Ribbon knowing I will get great SERVICE and THE BEST BBQ in all of MASSACHUSETTS!

Admittedly, I'm biased (my last name is Janowski, and Boss Hoss Geoff is my younger brother!), but lemme tell ya...it's damn good. And what you can believe without reservation is that many of the sides are just like our Grandma Maggie made down in good ol' East Moline, IL. The pickles, the greens, the beans...hell, we were eatin' and lovin' this stuff long before the boys decided to share it with the masses...
